The restaurant takes its name from its former location on the corner of via Beato Enrico Comentina.

“The door of the restaurant is so small and discreet that it is like going into a private house” – wrote critics Gianni and Paola Mura in Venerdì, the Friday supplement of La Repubblica, continuing – “And fortunately this is an impression which persists, even after sitting at one of the tables for a while”.

L’Angolo del Beato prides itself on its homely, inviting atmosphere, where guests can sample a series of dishes from Piedmontese cuisine made with carefully selected high quality ingredients that make each course an exquisite treat.

L’Angolo del Beato seats 50 in its intimate dining rooms arranged in two rooms with coffered ceilings and exposed brick of the eighteenth century, located in the heart of Asti.

In the kitchen are the chefs Francesco Galluzzi and Silvio Gai, while front of house are owner Marco Campagna, his wife Cristiana, his father Antonio and his mother Paola.
